For Father’s Day we were welcomed to the Gloucestershire ground during the YB40 match Gloucestershire vs Yorkshire to help raise awareness of the Last Man Stands (LMS) leagues in the local area.

The LMS leagues are drumming up support for their game which is shorter than the traditional matches and is intended to fit better within today’s busy family lives.

Unfortunately on the day the heavens opened and the sides were only able to play reduced overs.

However, as it was Father’s Day, we saw lots of family groups and were happy to supply some entertainment and fun for the day.

We were also busy handing out lots of information about Bristol LMS – which will hopefully reflect in an increase in membership for the local leagues. For more information about LMS Bristol visit: http://www.lastmanstands.com/playcricketbristolbath
