Our most unusual venue for the ECB Cricket Factory Roadshow this year has to be the Asda trolley park in the carpark of the Grantham Asda. But at least we were under cover!

The event was supporting the promotion of the Lincolnshire Indoor Cricket League. Indoor cricket is played by most regional cricket boards and is a popular way of playing the sport in the winter months.

We had great fun with the Sunday shoppers to Asda and had excellent family participation and especially good skills from the Grantham mums who were really competitive. Our coaches from Lincolnshire Cricket Board were both called Martin and did a great job with the shoppers who quite often played on the rig before their shop, then came along for another try and to better their scores afterwards.

It was great to see families playing cricket together in such an unusual and surprising venue. It just shows how the ECB Cricket Factory Roadshow really can and does go anywhere!
