What a fantastic event to start the 2014 Road Show Schedule!

The climax of the Sport Relief Weekend took place at the iconic London 2012 Olympic Park in London where over 30,000 visited to take part in the swim, run and cycle events or simply to walk around and partake in the number of activities that had been set up.

Working alongside Essex Cricket Board the ECB Cricket Factory Rig was sited on the bridge by the famous Copperbox and proved extremely popular with families and celebrity visitors throughout the day. Winter Olympic Short Track skaters Elise Christie and Jack Whelbourne along with Bronze medalist from the London 2012 Games, Hockey Player Chloe Rogers all visited the rig to take the speed throw challenge, although we were sworn to secrecy with regards to who won! The BBC covered the whole of the event live and one of the presenters, Michelle Ackerley couldn’t resist popping in to have a go herself.
