One of Cricket Scotland’s aims is introducing and developing the skills of young players and they see Cricket Factory as the tool to help achieve this. Steve Paige, Head of Community Development, set up a Development Team Training Day on how Cricket Factory can help deliver cricket to a young audience and it went down really well with all the coaches. We have received some great feedback from the guys up in Scotland and they are really using the equipment to its full potential in schools, clubs and local community groups.
Gordon Drummond, the captain of the Scottish Cricket team and Development Officer for Edinburgh says,
“The equipment is good for coaches due to its versatility and can be used for all facets of the game. I have used the equipment to develop skill and in game sense scenarios. I like the fact that it can be used in any environment including schools and clubs and this helps take cricket to the people. The Fundamentals kit is bright and eye-catching and most important of all its fun. I think the kit is great for teachers and coaches of all levels.”
