We had a great couple of days working with Norfolk Cricket we set up in the Active Norfolk Sports Zone, alongside other sports such as Tennis, Golf and canoeing. The weather was almost perfect with the exception of the last hour on each of the days when the heavens opened and the rain fell.
Throughout the event we were visited by many of the school groups and a huge number of families, with the ECB Cricket Factory attaining a personal show record for the number of female participants – mums, and dads challenged their children of all ages proving that everyone loves to play, and win! During the first day we were lucky enough to receive a visit from the show president Jake Humphries, who couldn’t resist having a bat.
A big thank you must go to Kieron, Kevin and their team of coaches who supported the event and made the two days such a success.
