With the forecast set for sunshine it was always going to be a great couple of days at the Essex Country Show in Barleylands.
Working alongside Essex Cricket we set out to attract a new audience to cricket by offering our fun based cricket activities to the families who were in attendance.
Throughout the weekend we saw all ages have a go on the Cricket Factory rig with many experiencing cricket for the first time. As previous visits to the event we managed to sign up a number of sporty girls to the fantastic essex womens and girls programme.
As always Essex provided a great team to support the activity and handed out lots of exit route information to the young people and their parents, along with a number of fun promotional giveaways.
