Encouraging people with disabilities to take up cricket in a variety of capacities is an annual event at Sussex Cricket Club in Hove and the ECB Cricket Factory team were there again in this, its 3rd year, to support the event.
With a variety of activities available for young people and adults alike, including skills sessions using the ECB Cricket Factory Core Skill Set, there was plenty of action to keep the local schools and community groups interested.
The day was a fantastic chance to celebrate accessibility within the sport and highlight the different aspects and opportunities to get involved that exist at club level.
The ECB Cricket Factory rig was popular as ever and the team had a great day with the young people – particularly as we were blessed with glorious sunshine.
Once again, the Cricket Factory played an invaluable role in making this day a success. Always a pleasure to have the team in Hove – and I know they love coming because we guarantee sunshine on this day in the calendar! Keep up the great work.
