Following the Baton up Country we were next in Cutteslowe, Oxford who had tied their annual Summer Festival in with the Batons passing.
Hundreds of local school children created a procession through the site welcoming the Baton onto the site. The Baton was then taken to each of the sports to allow the children a closer look at the intricate design.
Following the 3 hour school sessions the festival opened its doors to the local community with the festivities running late into the evening.
We were joined on the day by Oxfordshire Cricket who brought a fantastic display of information relating to playing cricket in and around the area.
