Sunday 9 June saw the ECB Cricket Factory team heading to Headingley for the 2013 Children’s Day event at the stadium shared by Yorkshire County Cricket Club and Leeds Rhinos.

The event was a fantastic free day for children to come along with their families to try a vast range of activities – all completely free – and the opportunity to meet a number of sporting stars.

In addition, there was a junior Kwik Cricket competition and a junior rugby tournament followed by the Emmerdale All Stars who were back in action again for the day.

Yorkshire Bank brought the YB40 Trophy to the rig which proved a popular attraction with both the juniors and adults, with many taking the opportunity to have their photo taken with it.

As ever we had a wide age range on the rig with extended families challenging each other on the Batting and Speed throw. We even had some of the Rhinos players on to see if they were able to beat the scores set by cricketers on previous events.
