Working alongside our associates Yorkshire Bank we attended the Careers Fair at the Yorkshire Showground. The Careers Fair is open to all young people between the ages of 14 and 18 based in and around Yorkshire.
The ECB Cricket Factory Rig provided an impactful feature of the exhibition which allowed staff from the bank to interact with the attendees in a relaxed and very different environment. Linking skills needed for working in a bank with the skills required for coaching created a very different way for Yorkshire Bank to sell opportunities in banking to the young visitors.
Not only were we busy with the career seekers we were also kept busy with other exhibitors and the staff from the colleges who had attended with the young people.
Thank you to Yorkshire Bank who not only provided and army of staff but also great knowledge and some of the best giveaways of the whole event!
