Saturday 27 October saw the Cricket Factory Team enjoy a day of fun with the local people of South Ockendon as they celebrated reopening the pavillion at their local recreational ground. Tuesday saw the ECB cricket Factory Tour visit the city of Newcastle for an event to launch a new indoor cricket league specifically targeted at BME groups.
The league will run matches every Tuesday until Christmas and we saw plenty of natural talent on the rig on the day. We had adapted the rig’s equipment to include a speed bowling lane which created an added challenge for participants along with a target activity which had an extra ‘fitness’ element. […]
This year’s Great North Run continues to be the largest half marathon event in the country and was a huge success this year with over 40,000 taking part in the race on Sunday. In addition on Saturday the Great North Citygames – a free athletics event – took place. The two events form a weekend of sporting action in the North East.
Complimenting the activities was the Great North Run Pasta Party held on the Saturday and offering free pasta to all runners involved in the events including BUPA Mini and Junior events which took place on the Saturday in advance of the Great North Run on Sunday. […]

Amazing weather for the Essex Country Show at Barleylands, in Billericay this weekend – and a fitting end to the closing hours of the fantastically successful Paralympics taking place in nearby Stratford.

We had a fantastic event at Michael Vaughan’s Twenty20 England Allstars cricket legends match in Sheffield. The beautiful weather coupled with the action on and around the cricket pitch made for an amazing family day out and there were plenty of families taking advantage of the last gasp of the summer holidays.
With a enthusiastic crowd to watch the match, there was also an ECB kids Kwik Cricket tournament taking place earlier in the day. We had great fun coaching the future cricketing stars around the ECB Cricket Factory rig as well as through some of the challenges using the ECB Cricket Skill Sets. […]
After the trials of the rain in Somerset, our last stop on the 2012 Cricket Factory Tour, we were hoping for more clement weather and thankfully Dorset did not disappoint. We had a great 2 days at the hugely successful Dorset County Show and enjoyed the fantastic attendance which was a record-breaking 60,000 this year. […]
