When the famous Tour De France passes through your local County attending an event in relation to it is too good an opportunity to miss. Luckily Yorkshire Cricket Foundation and the Yorkshire Cricket Board agreed that we should take Cricket to Le Tour and we spent Stage 1 in Leeds supporting the Spectator Hub at Scothalll Playing Fields at the site of the Caribbean CC
Once the cyclists and their support vehicles had passed through we were joined by hundreds of visitors, many of whom were from the local community around Leeds and had been able to walk to the site.
The Yorkshire Cricket Board were on site to answer the many questions about where the young people could play cricket in the area and our coaches for the day from Pro Coach supplied additional information about forthcoming Summer Camps.
