Setting up on the Nursery Ground in the shadow of the Media Centre at Lords is always special, and today being the final of the YB40 competition between Nottinghamshire and Glamorgan added to the occasion.
We operated three of our challenges before and throughout the match, with many families taking the opportunity to have a go at the catching, batting and speed throw tests.
With this being a Yorkshire Bank event we were also joined throughout the day by the banks three cricket ambassadors, Alastair Cook, Paul Collingwood and Alec Stewart each of whom also took up the speed throw challenge. The winner threw 74.2mph, but can you guess who it was?
