This was our second visit to the Essex Country Show, and although the weather was slightly disappointing (Cold and wet!) we had a good turn out of participants, young and old over the two days.
Under the shelter of the Essex ‘pop up’, Essex Cricket Board provided a fantastic display of imagery highlighting their work around the county for all to see, alongside the photographs were further details of where visitors to the show could play, learn and get involved with cricket, as well as a rather impressive Goody Bag.
One of our visitors over the weekend was 7 year old Millie, who we first met in 2012 when she visited the rig for her first taste of cricket. Following her ECB Cricket Factory experience she was encouraged at the event by Essex to attend one of their camps – one year later she is part of the Essex Development Group – Well Done Millie!
A big Thank you to Dan, Dave, Pat, Natalie and the team of coaches from Essex Cricket Board who supported a great event.
