Despite the weather thousands of people attended the 8th Get Active Festival in Chichester on Sunday 8th September even if it meant that they were occasionally running for cover during the heavier showers, they were still keen to get back to trying their hand at cricket.
With over 20 different local sports clubs there the focus of the day was to promote a variety of sporting activities to the whole family.
Linking with Sussex Cricket Board we were able to pass on lots of information about where youngsters and adults could find out more about cricket in their area.
