Trafford Day, Old Trafford

With the sun shining we set up our full rig in the front of Old Trafford to support a new event in Lancashire CCC’s diary – Trafford Day.

The day was created to open the doors of Old Trafford to the local community and encourage those who maybe hadn’t experienced cricket before to come and see what it was all about.

Early afternoon started with a grassroots display of cricket, followed by the showing of the FA Cup which led into Lancashire’s second T20 Fixture against Worcestershire.

Throughout the afternoon we had plenty of family challengers who returned on a number of occasions to see if they could beat their scores.
