The first of the Royal London ODI series was at the Kia Oval, Surrey, and it was here that the rig was used to support their match day activity.

Despite the rather mixed weather numbers throughout the day were good, with us even getting a visit from Phil Tufnall who took up our batting challenge.

With the numbers of adult participants high, the speed throw was registering some pretty big speeds, with the top throw for the day being 72mph!

Alongside the rig Royal London operated their ‘keepy Uppy’ competition, although we didn’t see anyone get close to the record number which is high into the two hundreds.

Great days activity with thanks going to all the coaches who helped
