We were thrilled when Nottinghamshire CCC put the request in for us work alongside them at the annual Nottingham River Festival, a three day event which attracts thousands of local people to sample music, arts, local culture and sport.
We set the rig up next to Nottinghamshire’s information and ‘sign in’ stand and created a circuit of activity which lead the public through the ECB Cricket Factory Rig to an extra area using the Cricket Factory Core Skill Set where additional prizes could be won.
The event was a true family affair with all generations of the family having a go in the cricket area.
BBC Radio Nottingham visited on Saturday to get the low down on what we were doing at the festival and to understand a little more about what Nottinghamshire CCC do in the local community.
