Linking with Lancashire Cricket Board and Wigan Sport, the Cricket Factory Rig provided an ideal break for all the young competitors and their siblings who had come to take part and watch in the Cricket, Football, Hockey and Rugby tournaments.
Competition moved from the sports pitches into the rig with some top scores on the batting and speed throw challenges, in particular the girls from Rugby League who were convinced they couldn’t play cricket and wouldn’t be any good….. I think they got top scores in all challenges beating everyone else who had visited!!
