The last game in the Royal London ODI series and we set up behind the lively West Stand in Headingley. With the schools back from the Summer break we were heavily used by adults in the ground which provided lots of fun banter.
The speed throw was extremely popular, with the fastest throw of the day coming from a young man who had travelled from London and had cited that he would and could throw the fastest….lucky for him he was right and he threw a huge 78.6mph
We were also visited by a number of the Bharat Army who decided to run a mini competition on our Batting and Throwing challenges, the scores from these challenges proved to be pretty impressive and of a high standard.
For some reason Headingley attracted the most fans in fancy dress with the likes of Jack Sparrow, Princess Lea and Darth Vader to name a few who visited the rig!
